Onutė Gražinytė


Onutė Gražinytė was born in musician’s family. She started her piano studies at age of 5 in National M. K. Čiurlionis art school.

Onutė Attended masterclasses with N.Seriogina, G.Scott, G.Alekna, A. Žlabys, M. Moretti, M. Sobula, K. Papadakis,, M. Rubackytė, E. Kupiec , M. Rubackyte, M. Raekallio, R. Brautigam, A. Gavrilov etc.

O. Gražinytė participated in various concerts and festivals, such as the festival „Slaviansky bazar“ (Vitebsk, Belarus), 'NEXT generation IV' (2014, Switzerland), 'In corpore' (2014, Tallinn, Estonia), Music Fest Perugia (2015, Perugia, Italy), concert for occasion of millennium of the name of Lithuania and etc.

As a soloist she played with Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra as well as Lithuanian State Symphonic, National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art Symphonic, Symphonic Philharmonic of the University of Alicante, Kaunas Symphonic and Mozarteum Symphonic Orchestras.

Onutė is a laureate of 10 national and international piano contests, such as laureate diploma at J.S.Bach Competition (Lithuania); laureate diploma and special prize for the best performance of Balys Dvarionas’ work at the 17th Balys Dvarionas Piano Competition (Lithuania); 1st prize at the 4th International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition (Austria), 1st prize and special prize form jury member Marian Sobula in Peter Toperczer International Piano Competition (Slovakia) and etc.

In 2014 she was awarded by President of Lithuania, for active musical activities and achievements.

Since 2016 Onutė is a student of Hannover University of Music (Prof. Roland Krüger) as well as member of “Musik braucht Freunde” and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Hannover foundations.

O. Gražinytė had concerts in Lithuania, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Denmark.
