Maria-Diana Petrache graduated of the National University of Music Bucharest in 2017 (Prof. V. Moroianu) and in the same year she began her Master studies at the University of Music Hannover with Prof. Roland Krüger.

She is an active presence on the concert stages. She performed as a soloist in different concertos (Mozart K 467, K 413 and K 365; Schumann; Saint-Saëns no.2), collaborating with orchestras such as Webern Kammerphilharmonie from Vienna, Radio Chamber Orchestra - Bucharest, Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of Ploieşti, Filarmonica “Ion Dumitrescu”, Râmnicu-Vâlcea, „Concerto” Orchestra of the National University of Music, “Mihail Jora” Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacău, Philharmonic Orchestra of Botoşani etc. and conductors like Vladimir Kiradjiev (Austria), Gabriel Bebeşelea, Valentin Doni, Radu Postăvaru, Bogdan Vodă, Dario Bisso-Sabadin (Italia); Constantin Grigore, Corvin Matei (South Africa), George Hariton, I.I.Prunner, Gheorghe Iliuţă.

She also presented numerous recitals in Romania and Germany (in Nürnberg – 2016, the Romanian Athenaeum etc.) and chamber concerts. In the recitals sustained on the stage of the Studio Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum she invited as special guests prominent personalities of the musical life, such as Luminiţa Julieta Mihai, violinist (SUA), Ion Bogdan Ştefănescu, flutist, Emil Vişenescu, clarinetist, etc.

She is a semifinalist in the International Competitions „Silvio Bengalli” - Val Tidone and Massarosa (Italy, 2016) and a laureate (over 30 prizes) of numerous national and international contests that took place in Romania (1st prize at the Competition „Drumul spre celebritate”, Bucharest, 2017; 2nd prize at the National Competition „M. Jora”, Bucharest, 2017; 1st prize at the National Olympics of Musical Interpretation, 2013; 1st prize and Radio România Muzical special prize at “Ada Ulubeanu” Contest, 2013; Mozart Trophy and 1st prize at the International Contest “W.A.Mozart”, Târgovişte, 2012; 1st prize at the International Contest “Millenium”, Bucharest, 2011; 1st prize at the International Contest ‘Romantic miniature”, Galaţi, 2011 etc.).

In the field of chamber music, as a winner of a SoNoRo scholarship in 2012 and 2010, Maria-Diana Petrache had the privilege of being mentored and playing together with prestigious personalities, such as: the cellist David Cohen, the pianist Diana Ketler, the violinist Christina Merblum, the violonist Alexander Sitkovetsky.

In 2015-2016 she received an Erasmus+ scholarship and studied at the Music University of Nürnberg, under the guidance of Prof. Wolfgang Manz. She also won a scholarship offered by International Summer Academy, Vienna, in 2015 and 2017. She participated inmasterclasses offered by Cristopher Elton, Boris Berman, Lilya Zilberstein, Markus Schirmer, Gottlieb Wallisch, Andrei Gavrilov, Christian Beldi, Gerlinde Otto, Martin Hughes, Gabriel Amiraş, Viniciu Moroianu, Dana Borşan and Walter Krafft.
