Jinhua Liu


Jinhua Liu was born in China in 1995, and show strong interest and talent in music since childhood. She began studying piano at the age of eight. She won the first place at the Beijing XiWang Cup Piano Competition and entered the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in 2006. In 2008, she won the second place at the XingHai Cup Piano Competition. She won Scholarship many times during the study, and, in 2012, she participated the China-Russia exchange Piano Master Class and was awarded for playing in the concert as outstanding student. In 2013, she entered the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover in Hannover, Germany, and studied under Prof. Roland Krüger.

In 2014, she achieved top awards at various European Competitions:
The first prize at the Stockholm International Music Competition (Sweden);
The first prize at the Hagen International Piano Competition (Germany);
The third prize at the Maria Herreo International Piano Competition (Spain) .

She participated in various Master Classes, such as master class of Prof. Ungar and Prof. Einar Steen-Nokleberg, and in 2014, the master class of Prof. Krüger in Halle.
